Holiday Weekend

Well-loved hamper decorated with a collage of porcelain dolls, lace and antique jewelry.

These pictures were taken in an Antique store on Main Street, which had eclectic choices... from European to American collectibles....lot's of Religious artifacts, Garden decor and Lighting.

Over the weekend while visiting Fredreicksburg, Texas , I found this wonderful Alley Way on Main Street with some large wrought iron gates resting against the stone walls of the store buildings. Just imagine the majestic homes these once adorned?

Hi! I saw your blog on Garden Antiques, the blog that also inspired me to start one of my own. I agree that is addicting! I love what you've done with yours so far and will keep checking back. I am not an antiques dealer or artist, just an English teacher who shops a lot, but I'd love for you to check out my blog at nestingnotions.blogspot.com and see if we have anything in common. I think we do!

This looks wonderful! I was in Austin this weekend, and wished I had time to drive to Fredericksburg.

Thanks all for popping in to check my Blog.
As you can see I'm having lots of fun and Hayley, it can be very, very addicting so welcome to the party!
Theresa, at Garden Antiques has really helped alot and I frequent her Blog whenever I'm on. Can't wait to meet this new friend once I arrange to visit one of Theresa's shows.
I'm still learning to post...backwards, I guess that's the process when posting pictures and writing about the places in the correct order. Lidy,I will try to post larger pictures as well. I'm trying to figure out the details of the installed photo software...any suggestions?
Carolina, definitely try to visit the areas outside Austin, Dripping Springs,Salado,Fredricksburg,Comfort are all frequent stops of mine around the Hill Country...while Mico North Hwy281 toward Dallas is another.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Denise, what an awesome store. What's the name of it and is it located in Fredricksburg? It kinda reminds me of Curious Sofa's shop. Hope you are having a great Friday!!
